One on One Consultations

Great! So you are thinking of booking an appointment with me. I’m looking forward to helping you! Here are a few things you might want to know:

How do one-on-one appointments work?

All appointments are currently online via Zoom. All you need to do is get in touch via email or the online booking form, set up a time and I’ll send you an appointment confirmation and Zoom link. Easy!

What can I expect during the consultation session?

This initial consultation is finding out a lot about you. What makes you tick? What’s encouraged you to seek help? From there, we plan where you want to be and how we get you there! I have a very relaxed style, it’s not frightening and we don’t go deep into your past (unless you want to!)

How long does a one-on-one consultation typically last?

The first consult is up to an hour and a half - there’s a lot to talk about! Follow-up consults last 50 minutes - one hour.

Do I get notes from the session?

After each session, you get a brief summary of notes sent to you within 24 hours.

Are consultations confidential?

All consultations are completely confidential. I will only break this confidentiality if you are at risk of hurting yourself or someone else. This will be discussed with you and a plan made.

What else might we discuss?

Because I approach health (including emotional health!) holistically - I might ask you some strange questions that other practitioners wouldn’t. This might include: what you eat on a typical day, how well your gut functions, your energy levels on a day-to-day basis and other whole health-related questions.

You might want to see me to:

  • Get direction and focus in life

  • Add a holistic approach to your current treatment

  • Help you make a difficult decision about a relationship, job or lifestyle change

  • Feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions

  • Improve your overall mental and physical health and well-being

  • Improve your mood and lessen your anxiety
